Radio Control Model Airplane Club History
Our club was formally founded in 2003 I started flying at our current
field in 2003 and the owner urged me to start a club. Located
in Rockcastle County Kentucky.
I started pushing thru the shop
to get people to come and fly at the new field. We started
out strong and got up to about 20 members with in the
next flying season we have lost a few and gained a few and
would love to have more folks come out and fly.
We have a diverse group from all ages and experience. We fly all sorts
of planes from warbirds to 3D to Giant Scale even a trainer every now and
then. If you are local and would like to find a new place to fly come by
and check us out. We would be glad to have you.
Moved to a new field 2006
We are now flying in Berea at Don Coy's farm we have a 1500 foot grass
runway. With this move we have now changed our name to the
Balsabusters and keeping our old acronym RCMAC we are the Balsabusters
Radio Controled Model Airpalne Club. If your local and need
a place to fly please contact us and we can provide you with
further information or just come on out and fly with us.
