Hello and welcome to Madison County's own Radio Controlled Model Airplane Club!
We are a proud and diverse group of Radio controlled modelers and pilots in the Madison County area of Central kentucky. We fly all kinds of airplanes and helicopters, from gliders, electric powered planes and helicopters to 50% scale gasoline powered aerobatic giants!
We have an AMA insured, Chapter #4738, full-scale grass runway and taxiway/secondary runway measuring 75'x1500' where R/C and full scale planes are welcome.
Our club meets to fly every Sunday about noon at the club field at 934 Drafus Rd., just 5 minutes north of Berea, about 1 mile on the left past the game reserve.
A map and directions can be found on this site on the menu to the left. So come out and bring friends and family to watch, eat and fly! All guests and spectators are welcome!
We have three full-time club instructors, 3 nitro-powered trainers and 2 electric trainers that any guest is welcome to try!

From Berea, I-75 Exit #77

At end of exit ramp turn left if coming from north turn right if coming from south. Go about 1.2 Miles.

Turn left onto Glades Rd. which becomes KY-1016. Go straight thru the stop light by the McDonalds and the Berea Chevrolet dealer. At the next STOP SIGN, turn left. (you will still be on 1016.)

Go about 3.4 Miles on 1016 where you come to Highway 421. You will want to stop at the stop sign, then go straight onto 421. You will travel about 2 miles on 421.

Turn right onto Dreyfus Road. (Look for a sign for the Wildlife Reserve. Travel approximately 3 miles on Dreyfus Road. (Basically at this point fallow the double yellow lines to the field.)

You will see a log Cabin on your left which is Don’s house. There are two turnins here one will be marked as flying field the other isn't marked and is paved they are side by side but by turning in the non paved side this keeps us out of his yard. Just head for the airplane stands and hopefully where you see lots of other people :)

Map Quest tends to go an alternate route than we use, so we suggest looking at the directions below. However, you can get there just fine following the Map Quest directions directly.
